团长Noel Gallagher在接受访问时说道，他们的新作《Don\'t Believe The Truth》是Oasis自发行处女专辑《Definitely Maybe》以来最棒的专辑，尽管他们花了三年的时间才完成这张专辑，但是令Noel感到相当的骄傲，同时也表示这是他们所有六张专辑中最优秀的一张。“我对于这次的作品感到相当骄傲，我们终于有所突破了，突破以往所遭遇到的瓶颈。”Noel Gallagher如此说道

这段曲子应该不是他典型的代表作，旋律缓和，有点空灵的味道，虽在呐喊但听的并不枯燥却。。
